Hello & welcome!
I’m Loren, founder of La Tadhana - a brand I’m so proud to bring to life and share with you all. I have an avid love for wearing dainty, beautiful pieces of jewellery, which is the foundation of how La Tadhana came to be.
I have always been a sentimental person. In 2020, I became a mama to my beautiful little boy, and it was this pivotal & incredible point in my life where my nature of being sentimental deepened even more. I longed to not only wear pretty, delicate pieces of jewellery, but to wear jewellery that would embody meaningful aspects of my life that I could wear daily, with pride and passion. The desire for more personalised jewellery, paired with my love for making beautiful things, fuelled me to harness my creativity - and so La Tadhana was born.
What began as me making jewellery for myself has evolved into wanting to share that with anyone who resonates with the desire to wear what is most special and meaningful to them.
I am a one-woman show; I design our jewellery and create them from start to finish (from cutting, drilling, handstamping, polishing and assembling all our pieces). This means no two pieces are the same. After packaging your personalised jewellery with love & care, I ship them off to you, knowing I have created something precious by hand to help you tell the heartfelt story that is unique to only you.

Our materials
I am someone who loves to wear the same pieces of jewellery everyday - hence the need for dainty pieces that don’t get in the way of everyday life. However, I found that without breaking the bank and buying solid gold jewellery, the main alternative in Australia that is more budget-friendly is gold-plated jewellery. Unfortunately, after wearing gold-plated pieces, I found that within days my jewellery would be tarnished, my skin would be discoloured and irritated and I wanted to take the pieces off straight away. So much for wearing them everyday!
After much research, I came across gold-filled jewellery. The next best alternative to solid gold, but without the hefty price tag. Gold-filled jewellery is composed of a solid layer of gold (at least 5% of the item’s weight) pressure-bonded to a base metal. This results in high quality jewellery which can be worn everyday without tarnishing, unlike gold-plated pieces.
My aim is to provide treasure troves that can be loved and worn daily and as such, our La Tadhana pieces are made entirely of 14k yellow or rose gold fill (as well as sterling silver).

Our life journeys are a culmination of all the events and experiences we go through, whether big or small. Some of those experiences that shape us are joyous, while some can be tragic. Nevertheless, it is these moments that make up our life stories, and are the stories we aim to embody through our bespoke jewellery.
